Forgot to mention that today I bought 3 very large heads of cauliflower ( pm from WM @ $1.88 ea ) and 1 small bag of THE most adorably sized and multi coloured potatoes!
Earned the 4,000 PC points for 4 items, making each item a mere $1.15 each. I like that very much. Roasted cauliflower will be on the weekend menu!

i have costco membership so i may as well go there. All three stores are within minutes of my home or my work.
Have you tried the Freshco rotisserie chicken? Not all stores have them, so I have not been able to try. They are supposedly on sale for $6.99, but I can't find a location near me that has BBQ chicken. Perhaps they might, in your corner of the city. I would like to find out how heavy the chickens are and compare them to CostCo.

That's the best course of action. Take your money away from those who refuse to compete.
RCSS only got into PM, when Walmart forced them to do so. Now without WM, they do as little as possible to still be able to say that they do PM.

Found 21x boxes of Quaker Harvest Crunch for $0.94 each. They were the shrunken 400g and 470g (formerly 560g) boxes, but still the best deal around for cereal. Other shoppers could not believe the price, either, when I cleared the rack. Even after shrinkflation, the price was still better than I previously found them ($1.88 for 560g).

    At Sobeys (ON),

2 x one litre bottles of Panache Pure Maple Syrup @ $9.99 each = $19.98

earned 500 Scene points ($5.00 value) - offer is 500 points for every 2 purchased

    $19.98 (cost) - $5.00 (points value) = $14.98 for two bottles or $7.49 each

The regular price is $16.99 for one bottle so this worked out to be less than half the regular price! At that price, with a best before date of 2026, I stocked up!

(It's on the back page of the Sobeys flyer. Thanks @couponlady for posting the flyer! Sobeys (ON) flyer February 16 - 22 )

One more Sobeys (ON) deal, also on the back page of the flyer. I purchased:

    1 x 1 kg jar of Nutella on sale @ $9.99
    AND
1 x box of Pearl Milling Pancake Mix @ $4.00 WUB2 or more
    for a total of $13.99

earned 750 Scene points ($7.50 value) - offer is 750 points WUB 1 x 1 kg jar of Nutella AND 1 x either Pearl Milling Pancake Mix or Syrup

$13.99 (cost) - $7.50 (points value) = $6.49 for both the big jar of Nutella and box of pancake mix!

I bought 4 of each with a best before date of Nov./Dec. 2023 and paid by redeeming Scene points. It's good to know that you can earn and redeem in the same transaction!

22 pounds of kidney beans rescued from the dump. Someone must have forgotten them in the back of the pantry, because most of it was dated best before 2010 and 2014. I don't care. They'll taste delicious in chili.

    Bought 5 detangler combs @$2.54 + tax each, earned 50,000pts ($20 back)

I went back to Sobeys today, the last day of the current flyer, and did the exact same deal but this time with Compliments Pure Natural Liquid Honey:

2 x one litre bottles of Compliments Pure Natural Liquid Honey @$9.99 each = $19.98

earned 500 Scene points ($5.00 value) - offer is 500 points for every 2 purchased

    $19.98 (cost) - $5.00 (points value) = $14.98 for two bottles or $7.49 each

The regular price of the honey is $16.99 for one bottle. Best before date is end of 2024 so I stocked up on these, too!

4x Schneiders Red Hots at No Frills, PMed Food Basics @$2.88. The Haulidays $3 off offer was reduced to $2.88, so just free, no overage. Repeated on my wife's account except 2x Maple Leaf Top Dogs (that's all they had) plus 2x Red Hots. This is at least 2 years' worth for us. Good thing they freeze well.
