there's a Disney store here in barrie. not an outlet but its freakin' awesome. as for board games, my girls like 'guess who' which I think is recommended for an older age group but they've been playing it since Christmas (4&2), memory, toy story buckaroo, my first operation, uno, princess candyland. my kids have waaaay too many toys and there really isn't 1 thing they go to time and again. I was thinking of getting dd1 a lite bright. I've read mixed reviews on the newer ones. they both do gymnastics and soccer so from relatives i'm thinking of suggesting money towards those things instead of more toys that they don't play with nor do they need.

For my DS we got him a ride on truck for his first birthday. He used it right away and still plays with it from time to time (he's almost 2.5).
For DD we got her a Cozy Coupe (I think it says 18 months but it was okay at 12), at first we pushed her in it and then she drove it around herself. It also still gets used.

we had the laugh and learn home (if that's what you mean) as well as the laugh and learn kitchen and it was very popular with my girls. for dd1s first birthday we got her a foam chair. not a big deal but she absolutely loved it and it just recently had to retire because of torn foam (4 years later) for dd2s first birthday we got her some little people stuff. neither one of them really played with that stuff much though.

Disney outlet was awesome! Got DD a bunch of the Disney Princess Dolls (the Barbie style ones) for $11 each! There wasn't as much for DS though but still got him a few items.

Kids really love toys and no doubt about it but Christmas is not all about giving toys for a gift it is all about giving them the happiness for me giving your whole time for all your kids is one of the best gift, play with them in some mall's and have a baseball or bowling and other sports that gift is more than a toy because memories never fades but toy can be broke and left when the kids grow up.

I agree but since I'm a SAHM, we do A LOT together. Christmas is a time for family, we do a lot of big family functions but its also a time to spoil the kids and watch them light up with presents they will really love.
I try to make sure the whole season is rounded with a little bit of everything.
