I sent a message to the site admin (I might have sent 2 as I thought the first didn't go through), and I sent the first one maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago, the second one maybe 2 weeks ago and haven't got a response.
Are they usually pretty quick about it? Did my message not get sent? Or is it going to take a long time?
who did you message exactly, there are different site admin for different areas of the site.
regardless, it shouldn't take too long for someone to reply.
You can check your sent messages folder to see if it was sent.

I've never had a reply to any pm I've sent to Boo..IN fact the last one I sent is still marked as unread in my pm box....
I didn't send it directly to the admin, I used the 'Contact Us' bit at the bottom of the pages.
An admin has messages me though and she's passing it on to Boo, thanks :)
If it's a site issue relating to the usability of the site (e.g. things not working), send a PM to me.
Anything else, can go through Contact Us.
Her issue was dealt with :)
