wish I had listened and not go try the McLobster. Waste of money. Sad to say this but of all the ingredients: lettuce, mayo, celery & green onions, bits of lobsters and hot dog bun, the bun tastes the best

we tried this today, sad to say as well do not waste you money, very little lobster and lots of bun, we opted for the salad instead of fries that was the best part...

Seems we in Ontario need to make road trips to the locations that are offering lobster meat in portions similar to the photographed images. Locations, please!

OHHHHH BABY!!!! ... Seriously - I don't know how I feel about this... I'm very skeptical about LOBSTER being served by MCDONALDS (firstly) and (secondly) shipped from the EAST-COAST to central Ontario....
Although... McDonald's has impressed me with their Ice Frappacino - Knocks Tim Hortons Ice Cap out of the water.
I guess I'll collect my pennies and give their Lobster roll a shot.

Tried it today at the Chatham, Ontario location (St. Clair, not Walmart).
First bite, got a piece of shell.
Shared the rest with my mother, but was disappointed - was hoping to luck out and get one of the good locations.
Review: Overall lobster portion was adequate, no big chunks, but wasn't shredded either. Mayonnaise was watery and the whole thing tasted like green onion. The bun was delicious though.
Took a picture of it. This is exactly as it came, no fiddling with it from me.

Sadly I was disgusted by this. And I love seafood subs from Subway, etc. This tasted of nothing but onion. I had very little meat, most of which was not even on the bun. The bun could be a nice roll instead of a plain, gross bun. I don't even like looking at the pic now that I've had one. So gross Also, no big chunks whatsoever in mine.

I remember when I was a kid, I saw a guy swim into the water with snorkel and fins on, and he swam out 10 minutes later with a lobster in each hand. Dinner. I thought that was really neat. I've never been "daring" enough to try lobster myself though.....would it be totally outrageous if I tried mclobster first? Lol!

Yes it would be
Start at top and then work your way to the bottom i.e McLobster is pretty much there..ha ha ha.
All you really need to eat lobster is too dip it in melted garlic butter and eat it ..need not do anything fancy with it
If you have never had lobster ..make sure you don't have any allergies to it..quite a few people are allergic to shell fish.
If you have had other shell fish like crabs , oysters etc without any issues , you should be OK eating lobster too

Yes its good , but they hardly refill it much as opposed to the other items .
So you have to be quick as once its gone , its pretty much gone.
So basically you end up paying very high Lobster buffet prices and end up eating all the other stuff , which is constantly refilled but the Lobster not so much

As someone who is from Ontario, who has lived in NB and married to a Newfoundlander with an ex from NS, lol, I can say that I would not recommend trying the McLobster if you have never had lobster. Just my opinion, lol! It doesn't taste anything like it because of the overpowering onion and it may turn you off of something that is normally quite great!
