I totally agree with you. 11 more days until I have a day off. I was okay with that because I was supposed to have 10 days holidays following that but that has been changed. Wah.

Our family loves home-baked items! They think I don't do it often enough.....which is very true! I am lazy in the kitchen at times! I go in baking spurts! lol

My absolute fave is butter tarts and vanilla slices but we would be happy with anything like muffins, cupcakes or gingersnap cookies. But anything you are "good" at making we would love! Sometimes it is fun trying what others love to make and what their family think is their specialty!

Slam's vanilla sugar cookies are amazing. I would love carrot cake with cream cheese icing (my fave) or macadamia nut cookies w chocolate. ...except as I'm typing this I feel like puking. Danish pastery is amazing.... Don even said tonight that a week ago, he would never have agreed that it was/could be so great etc. I have over eaten this week sooooo badly. I'm actually kinda disgusted. Luckily, it's one week. Last time I was here was 4 yrs ago, and the next trip won't be until at least next year

I leave Saturday to go to Calgary to drop off the pugs with my mom. Its also Haileys Birthday that day so we are celebrating her birthday with my mom and brother. Then we fly out on Sunday from Calgary at 0850

Hopefully I remember to bring home my laptop this evening because my keyboard for my Mac decided to go kaput on me last night! I use my laptop and use my phone as a wireless hotspot for internet during the day.

My car is fixed! woo hoo! Only had the tiny rental for 3 days. Phew! We stopped at Toys R Us after and got some dinosaurs Used the gift certificate from the last train, Jackson is very happy to have a new toy and I am thrilled it's not a car or truck lol.

The week after vacation is also quite long. But it's half over. And Jackson wouldn't let me order pizza for supper, so we had tuna melts which were more on budget any way. Walmart has been put off until tomorrow. I was too excited to go get my car back.
