Sorry for the delayed confirmation. Mailed last night after I got the sick hubby and baby down. I'm torn between being annoyed with dh and sympathetic. He has the "man cold", whereby he's the only one that's ever had a cold (sorry dear, I love you, but I'm not rushing you to the hospital for a temperature of 99 degrees). On the flip side, he's taking immunosuppressors for his crohns, whih mean he has a weaker immune system....but still. It's a cold. Alexa seems to be on the mend though. My flu symptoms from Sunday/Monday have subsided and joy oh joy, I feel the cold settling in the back of my throat. Bah.
Meshell, Mason looks so content I know what you mean about the anesthesia, but at the same time, at least he won't remember it all when he's older. Thats awesome that he's gaining weight steadily. I'm assuming that is a major concern with babies with cleft pallets, right? No matter what, baby weight gain is a huge relief for new babies kudos to you for committing to the pumping. I'd made the same promise with Alexa cause she had major issues with breast feeding (primarily cause she was force fed bottles of formula in NICU). A few weeks of pumping and finger feeding her through a tiny tube took its toll though, holy hell. Anyway, I think yhe xmas train is the PERFECT thing to distract you come surgery time :D

Yes, you are allowed to send hens (baby chicks) through the mail. A month or so ago someone rec'd some live bees. I just pretended they weren't there! lol I am actually pretty good at loosing myself and forgetting my surroundings. Sometimes too good....I go into lalaland it drives my family nuts sometimes!
