Never Give Out Postal Code to Store Again

Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic all ask for postal codes.....

I always thought it was to know what part of the city their customers were coming from and if they have enough travelling from M2J (or whatever code) they may open a store in that area.

That and so they can send flyers etc to the right area, not all companies are using them to find your exact address
