ExpiredOh where to start..
My husband took his free taco kit coupons to the walmart on regent and grabbed the taco kits that he wanted and proceeded to till.Once he got there he asked the cashier if he should split the transaction into multiple orders because he had more then one coupon and he thought that would be easier on the cashier. She said she was new so she would have to get the stores manager to help her..my husband said that was reasonable and the manager came over and that's where the fun began.
On the taco kit coupon it gives you options about what kind of taco kit you can get the manager said he could only have the taco kits that were in the picture. My husband showed him the fine print on the coupon where it list the variety of taco kits that you can have the manager said he didn't care that it could only be the one in the picture.
He also said my husband could only use one coupon per day a lot of arguing over coupons and policy and what the coupon says and my husband said well i am going to talk to head office..and the manager said i don't care i wont be here much longer anyways and we could have you escorted out.He also told my husband that you can only use ONE coupon a day for the taco kits which is annoying as i do have more then one..though trades etc not enough to clear a shelf or anything but we do have more then one.
my husband is on his way home he is so mad!
Anybody go there and have this experience?
*May need to add more later waiting on hubby to come home and call head office. This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

Really? why? would it not be considered a customer service rant? walmart rant? dont understand why ranting about really crappy walmart customer service trying to use a coupon is not allowed..does not make any sense.

I called head office this morning they said we would hear back from the manager in 3 days.Hope its not the same women i am hoping maybe she was a front end supervisor and not the actual stores manager. It was quite a trip..i always make sure that i read every coupon so i dont use it incorrectly so i assumed when it said "any" taco kit and list my options that i actually had a bit of a option to which one i can have. Then to be told we could only use one coupon per day could not do separate transactions either it was so irradiating that my husband said you know we can just leave our entire purchase and go else where to be told "thats why we hired shelf stockers ..which resulting in the we are calling head office remark followed by her what she said above and well we can just have you escorted from the building..head office did not sound to impressed about what all went down they said as long as the coupon was valid and being used correctly then we should not of had such a issue but we have to wait to hear from the stores manager.
I dont even like tacos all that much haha just my husband wants to have a taco party for his birthday since i have a few coupons from trades and what not so i figured why not free tacos!,free ice cream coupon as well..this birthday party will be cheap. We were not rude either but i will say it was not very nice of us to say we would leave everything and go else where or that we would call head office which we have never had to do before because of a coupon issue usually we have such great expierences couponing even at this location in the passed. We been told no before using a coupon in rexall because of the picture being different then the picture on the coupon but the manager was polite about it when we asked him if we could use the coupon because it was for the same product just different photos and helped us run back and look to see if we could find the actual product which we couldn't and that was fine we found it elsewhere but he was so nice about it..not crazy rude like this women was.
But yeah thats the update if people want to know more they can PM me in 3 days when i should hear back from management so saves me from getting in touble lol

The rules are:
Coupon Rants: As mentioned before, rants about how people use coupons, how many they take from a tearpad, or rants about SC users signing up for coupons/freebies etc are not allowed. However, rants about customer service while using coupons - as long as they do not break any other rules are allowed.Paula's Choice - $10 off your first order of $15 or more https://goo [dot] gl [forward slash] qmC00q

Why can't people post rants about coupons? It's not abusive to anybody else. This is a site revolving around coupons, it doesn't make sense to say people can't rant about them and subjects pertaining to coupon use on a site about it.....

if you have seen my recent rant about walmart, apparently for some managers they don't want us to save "too much" money at walmart, lol. I got limit to one P&G coupon too, not even allowing for a second transaction, just plain 1 coupon per customer! is nuts, walmart advertise itself for "save money and live better". take the issue to the top of the chain of management!

We're only hearing one side of the story. Was your husband confrontational with the staff? It's human nature not to want to help someone out if they are nasty to you. If he was calm and it was just a matter of a clueless employee, I can see why he would be mad. Let your feet do the talking, shop elsewhere.

I'm confused. In your initial rant you state the manager was male by the using the word HE. Then in your follow up you claim the manager was a female by using the word SHE.
Am I not reading things correctly?

I'm confused as well....I read this forum all the time and this rant is no different than the MANY that are posted about problems with Walmart, SDM etc. not accepting/misunderstanding coupon use. Why pick on this poster in particular?
