Nephew's Bday gift 88% saved!!!
Been meaning to post this, just always on my phone and not the real computer this summer!
For my nephews 1st birthday we wanted to get him something "big" but of course I didn't really want to spend Big!!
He had been playing on his cousins 4-in-1 radio flyer trike and loved it, so that's what we wanted to get him. So the hunt
began.
How i saved at least 88%:
Turns out they are exclusive to toys r us in canada :neutral: And came with a price tag of $209.99 :shock:
A week later flyer came in and they were on sale for $179.99, This is the price I used for the 88% since
I was going to fold and buy it at this price. Then I thought I would check out Amazon. I had $55 from swag bucks
that I had made in about 3 mths. Every time I get $5 or $10 I had been buying Amazon.com GC's.
So Amazon.com price was $99.00 yay!! :razz:, But I had enough for one more $5 GC, so I ordered it and waited the couple
days for it to show up in my acct. Then back to amazon.com, what They are on sale for $85.00:lol:!!!
My parents camp alot in Michigan, so I "rented" a mailbox on their route and had my dad pick it up. He had also ordered something
to pick up as well. The store insisted that he only had to pay for one mailbox. not for each parcel!!!! (Its suppose to be $5 a pkg)
So he said I could have the free mailbox and I owed him nothing!!!
Grand total, $25.00!!!! Amazon.com didn't even charge any tax!!
so toys r us - 179.99+13%tax = 203.39
Amazon 85.00+0%tax+freeship+free mailbox - Swagbucks = $25.00:shock:
and of course a super happy nephew and auntie!!! :cheesygrin:
