question about "save $4 when you buy 2"

hi,

my question about the coupon ...
is it bound specifically to 2 items, or is it sort of like an overall coupon

as in, if i used it a SOF in a stack,
could i used it on the 2 different product, but also use other coupons for those products first, therefore the $4 coupon would be too much, and i could buy 1 more product?

or if it bound to 2 specific products?

hypothetically if they accept it (going to ask if i can get olay body wash because it is in the picture)
pantene: 3.50
Olay: 3
olay: 3
pantene: 3.50

could i use 1 $3 olay coupon, 2 "1.5" pantene, and 2 "$4"
totals $14 in coupons for $13 in product

so if it is an "overall" coupon and not specifically bound to 2 items, could i not buy 1 more pantene? and have the extra 1$ go towards it???

jeez this is complicated to type out, would take less then a minute talking...

yep u can use the coupon..because the $4 is for any 3 olay or pantene products
and u have 2 of each and the others coupons apply
the extra $1 depends if they overage or not some cashiers do some dont

they didnt let me get olay, so i just pricematched 2 pantene for 3.50 each, and save-on, has 2 old spices for $5
ended up pay 60 cents per product after coupons and taxes.
