I cheated....Tim Horton's breakfast sandwich & coffee. I was feeling slightly guilty about this, since there are so many other things that almost $6.00 can buy. However, the drive to work this morning was absolutely horrendous; traffic was backed up for blocks and vehicles were 'butting-in' and causing angry honks and there were bicycles criss-crossing and pedestrians running across the middle of the road in-between cars, chasing buses, and strollers and dogs-on-leashes everywhere. I felt I had earned a breakfast. When I went to pay at Tim's, the cashier told me that the lady in front of me had already paid for my order. WOW! Did not expect that at all and it has had me smiling since. What a sweetheart that unknown driver was! What a wonderful difference she made.

Hey GatineauGirl that is awesome. I'll bet you will do the same for someone else soon.

Today I have a toasted western sandwich & orange juice. Sweet & Simple.

A bowl of Booberry cereal with milk and small handful of dark chocolate (50%) chips. Could not resist the cereal and yes, it does taste better than Lucky Charms!

That's AWESOME Gatineaugirl, So rare yo see such generosity. I bet that made your day.

The only time I've had that happen to me.... my mom was a few cars ahead in the drive thru (Mcds) and seen me pull around to order. She paid for my order while she was at the first window.

I had a breakfast burrito this morning. I picked up two bags last month from the US and I'll soon run out. Such a shame that the shops don't sell the same products. I don't know how many times we filled out survey cards at Costco to get the chimichangas back in.

First off...you must have done some good deed to have positive karma sent your way in the form of free breakfast. Good for you, and make sure you pass it fwd.

Secondly, the drive sounds like an entry into Gat park late Spring / early Summer, or just another day over the Cartier - MacDonald bridge
