I hardly get time to prepare a lavish breakfast and eat it leisurely. On most days, I used to go for the usual donut and coffee combo. But then my blood sugar reports came along and the doctor mentioned that I was in the pre-diabetes stage. Nobody in my family has it so it all boils down to my eating habits, especially how I start my day.
My doctor suggested that I go for healthier alternatives to what sugar and carbs-filled breakfast I used to have. Low carb breakfasts work best for me - and is an awesome idea for anybody who wants to stay away from weight gain, obesity, and diabetes.

so my breakfast is most people's lunch.
Today I lasted till 1:30 before I cooked up my first of 2 meals for the day.
Sauteed just the tender parts of a few T-Bone steaks ( 5 oz. worth ) with green onions, mushrooms, 1/4 c.green beans, chopped cilantro and rosemary leaves and 1/4 c zucchini slices.
Had that with a large salad with cucumber dressing and a Tassimo cafe Crema!

There was a Swiss cheese slice, some store-bought potato salad, and ice cream. You bet I'm walking it off today!
Packed a water bottle for my walks and I've prevented myself from buying pop at Dollarama so far.

Still working on the pumpkin pies. Tomorrow should have the last slice cleared out the fridge.

Today was just overnight oats but yesterday was tofu scramble with beyond sausage and vegan "buttermilk " pancakes
