we had ''bœuf braisé''.....that is a piece of beef i start in
pan to seal the juces....then put it on a foil sheet with muchrooms, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, a pouch of onion soup and 1/3 cup of water.....then bend the foil on everything in order to make a well sealed enveloppe and forget it in the oven for 3-4 hours at low temperature ....as i had some errances for mom this morning, i was late so, i put my beef at 350 for 3 hours and it was exellent

left over can be heated and/or cut in dices to make a ''paté chinois'' that one is the Québec vesion of the sheppard pie

BTW....had a lot of pink stickers at Maxi this morning + my beef was 30% off ....i had to cook it today

Homemade vegetable cabbage soup: 2 containers of homemade chicken stock, 1 large can of diced tomatoes with spices, about 1/4 cup leftover spagh sauce, some carrots, onions, celery and diced cabbage, diced garlic, and some left over noodles, water and salt and Pepper to taste. Had that with a couple of slices of Kimmel Bread with butter. So yummy on a rainy day!

half of one of those teensy bell peppers stuffed with homemade chili, some oven baked salmon, and steamed carrots. I lied, that was my breakfast! lol. For lunch I had a mean green smoothie! ( tossed in my juice, added 1/2 avocado, frozen strawberries, spirulina, wheat grass, pineapple chunks, 1 Tblsp each of chia powder, cacao nibs and hemp hearts )

Leftover pasta with tomato sauces, and a few slices of awesome homemade Mennonite sausage from a local butcher, fried a bit.

We ordered pizza and garlic fingers for lunch. I was disappointed that the donair sauce that comes with the garlic fingers was lumpy and separated, but the rest was good.
