BBQ chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, carrots and cauliflower.

I made homemade hummus (you really need to start with dry chickpeas for the best texture and flavour) and a tabbouleh salad from garden cukes, tomatoes, parley, minced garlic and onion, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper.

Spread a toasted buttered bun with hummus and stuffed it full of tabbouleh. Dash of cayenne on top!

Went to Swiss Chalet and had the lunch trio. Half a chicken club wrap, a bowl of chicken soup and a side of fries.

@Natalka fav corn on the cob we picked our selves an hour earlier and an iced tea.

^ Wow, I haven't had freshly picked corn since I was a teen - when I was a kid we would drive out to a market garden about a half hour away, and pick sacks and sacks of corn - we had a big family.

I made a big pot of curried carrot soup

1 lb onions, fresh garlic and ginger, heaps of curry powder
3 lbs carrots, 2 lbs tomatoes, coconut milk, broth
pureed and served with a dollop of sour cream
