I sauteed up the last of the mushrooms and zucchini slices this morning...there were a lot! I now have a plastic container filled for snacking. Breakfast was kind of late so I might cruise until later tonight.

I just started about 2 weeks ago drinking this Oolong tea. I heard it was even better for us than Green Tea, so I gave it a whirl and I like the taste better!
Here is the explanation of what it is....

Oolong tea is a product made from the leaves, buds, and stems of the Camellia sinensis plant. This is the same plant that is also used to make black tea and green tea. The difference is in the processing. Oolong tea is partially fermented, black tea is fully fermented, and green tea is unfermented.

The one downside I guess is if one wants a tea with less caffeine this one has more in it than both black and green tea....so ??? a personal choice has to be made there.
Still it has less caffeine than coffee though.

    Some benefits to health are

    Oolong Tea Benefits

    • Reduces the Risk of Heart Disease. ...
    • Helps Fight Obesity and Promote Weight Loss. ...
    • Lowers Risk of Cancer. ...
    • Diabetes Prevention. ...
    • High in Disease-Fighting Antioxidants. ...
    • Decreases Inflammation. ...
    • Supports a Healthy Brain. ...
    • Prevents Bone Loss.

The only meals I make during the week are for moi! ha ha I must say I am loving that part now.
So on the w/e I don't mind spoiling my family with a few batches of stews, etc.....it frees my w/e up ( if I get everything cooked early in the a.m. ) to watch all the hockey and baseball games on tv!!

I made a up a plate of nibbles for my lunch this afternoon.
There were 6 rectangle quinoa/honey gluten free crackers...3 covered in hummus and topped with sauteed mushrooms and zucchini, 3 with Cloverleaf Lemon Pepper Tuna Topper.
Ribs of celery scantily spread with all natural PB and topped with cranberries ( think Fire Ants on a Log! )
1 hard boiled egg, carrot and red pepper sticks, 1 slice havarti cheese,
and yes @Newfiescreech a pot of Oolong tea

snagged a decent sized spaghetti squash this a.m. off the GT reduced rack ( $1.25 ) , came home and microwaved it along with another teensy one I had in the fridge that was only .44 cents! Anyhow, the stars aligned as I found a container in the freezer of meat sauce I made who knows when?
Sauteed up some sweet onions, added another jar of sauce and voila!
DD and I now have some lunch/dinner portions for a few meals. She will love this when she is finished work later.
