A peasant's lunch that cleaned out left-overs. Bean soup...on the side: two types of nice cheese, summer sausage, and taco chips. Whenever I clean out the fridge, I politicize the meal by calling it "peasant's lunch."

I have it all made, just in the oven keeping warm.
It will be a late lunch or and early dinner....Tempura battered tiger shrimp ( they are huge! ) , tempura battered Basa fillets and home made chips. Caesar salad if anyone wants one.

Left-overs, always left-overs, because I make a large quantity of supper items on the weekend in order to minimize cooking through the week. Sometimes there are even left-overs from the week before! This lunch was pork tortiere and a small salad, with French vanilla cake for dessert. I usually make Duncan Hines cakes because DH loves them, and I don't care much for desserts...so he rules.

@wendymac I am the same, always cooking up batches of this and that. Always some left over.
As long as we don't make one of Lois' ( the Mom from Malcolm In The Middle ) leftover parfaits!!
Just look at those layers! ha ha

I am just starting a beef stew. Using the pressure cooker to save time, and the meat always tenderizes quickly.
When it is all cooked up I " may " make up 1 recipe of pastry and craft 6 individual meat pies because I have these adorable small metal pie plates. sigh....that is all
This could be either lunch or dinner, depends on when everyone is up and hungry.
