Sorry to hear that. I was watching a lady pile her cart with 14 cartons of almond milk, due to her intolerance. Can you drink that stuff?

@HermanH I don't use milk for much, maybe in recipes? but I don't eat dry breakfast cereals.
As far as " drinking " a glass of any type of milk or non-dairy substitute it has never been a craving I've had.
I've tried almond, soy and coconut versions but was not impressed enough to have it as a straight on beverage.
Water is my first go to, followed by coffee, tea and the rando Coke Zero. Oh yes and wine with some awesome dinners.

After watching those commercials of KFC, we drove 2 towns over to the KFC resto and ordered a 10 piece bucket with 3 sides. So that was lunch and that will be dinner tonight also! This is my once every 5 0r 6 months KFC pigout!

    CATELLI MINESTRONE SOUP with SHELLS

3 slices bacon, chopped (i used 2 slices)
    1 onion chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    1 celery stalk, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped cabbage (i used cole slaw mix because i didnt have any cabbage on hand)
    4 cups water
3 cans chicken broth (i used the whole tetrapack of Chicken broth)
1 can tomatoes, coarsely chopped with liquid
    3/4 cup catelli mini shells
1 can (14 or/398mL) red or white kidney beans, drained
    3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsps chopped fresh parsley (i used dried parsley)
    Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (i omitted that)

In large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp. Add onion, carrot, celery and cabbage: cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes. Stir in water, broth and tomatoes with liquid. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Stir in shells and cook, uncovered 15 minutes longer. Stir in beans, garlic and parsley into soup; heat through. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese. Makes 10 servings.
