She said she'd do it, but then told me I couldn't use half the coupons I had, and claimed she was as high up as I could get and there was no way I was going to be able to use them all. She even said "If you use both of these coupons on that shampoo (Clear) then you get both for only .63." "I just said "yes." She said "You can't have them for only .63." I told her if she wasn't sure about the coupons to just ask the manager to come help her out. She got on the phone and got into a loud argument with the manager because he told her I was correct and in the end, put all the coupons through for me (at a different cash because she said I was holding people up, now).
She was very upset with me, even though I was polite and very patient as she mumbled with every coupon she entered. I wished I had my copy of the WM coupon policy with me, although I fear she would have argued with me about that as well. I actually cannot wait for Target to open here next to me because at least their coupon policy is quite clear and not open to much interpretation. Either way, people are going to be confused and even upset that we're "working the system" and in the end, we save money and are not hurting anyone.
