I picked up few other grocery items as well since I was there. This was the only coupon I was using. I get to the cashier and she was actually pretty nice but kept insisting that I cannot buy Advil since I was buying 72 count. She was telling me that I should be buying 12 or 16 count and I explained it to her few times that the coupon says I cannot buy those 2 sizes but anything else and if you don't agree please take it off the bill and I will go somewhere else. In the end she shrugged and processed it. I was pretty happy with the whole process that it didn't take long. I paid for the groceries and while walking out checked the bill. I was charged for 2 boxes of Advils when I only bought one, went back to her and she took me to the Customer Service. Didn't have to wait in line there as the cashier had brought me there so in the end it was a happy story but was funny because of the cashier interpreting the coupon so I had to share with you.
Last night I also got traded in coupons for Got2Be and now I am dreading going to Walmart to PM and use those coupons. Does anybody know if Loblaws would accept the coupons for $5.00 when the price of the item is 3.99. I was able to use only 1 of mine at Shoppers last week but was refused the 2nd one. I also went to another Shoppers last week and was refused because they cannot adjust the value of the coupon if the sale price is less than the coupon amount.
