I noticed this deal but am wondering if the cashier will allow it or not.
The cashier is prompted on the computer to scan a gc. Will be doing it today and update the thread.
... I thought if you paid tax on it, it's considered a purchase? Hope they allow it! That would be a great way to collect GC's!
Isn't that coupon buy 2 get 1 free? So you'd get a set of 3 and then get a GC.
Just did it! First of all, it was scanning as $7.99 so they had to override as $6.99. Then used 1 x Redplum BOGO coupon and 2 x P&G B2G1 free all in 1 transaction. Got 8 boxes in total and $20 gift card! :D *happy dance*
Btw, all the $1.50 eggs are gone. :-/

I have 2 buy 1 get one free nice and easy coupon from a magazine, but also there is a $1.00 Target coupon when you buy any nice and easy product(expires on August 31,2013. Can you use a BOGO manufacturers coupon and a target coupon in the same transaction and get the gift card?

So I just want to clarify price. If I BOGO, 13.98-6.99(BOGO coupon)=$6.99-1.00 Target coupon=$5.99 for 2 boxes
, get 5.00 gift card,
Transaction #2, 13.98-6.99BOGO Coupon=$6.99-1.00 Target coupon=$5.99-use g/c$5.00=.99, and get another free gift card
So Transaction 1,$5.99(2 boxes) Transaction 2. .99cents for 2 boxes 3. free $5.00 to spend on anything in store
This way 4 boxes would be $1.75/box?

Just came back from Target, great deal. This is what worked for me:
Transaction 1, 2 hair colors-BOG0-$1.00 Target coupon=$6.95, includes tax, got $5.00 gift card
Transaction 2. 2 hair color-BOG0-$5.00 gift card(Trans1)=$3.05, received $5.00 gift card
Transaction 3. 2 Dempsters bread$4.98+eggs $1.49=6.47-1.00coupon-$5.00 gift card(from Trans 2)=.47
Total =$10.47
This deal didn't work for me at Square One Target yesterday. I tried to use 1 BOGO Redplum coupon but was told by cashier that her supervisor told her in order to get the gift card, I can't use the BOGO coupon, I would have to get three (pay for 2 and 1 would be free) and still get the gift card. Since I was there I said, I will buy one, the second one will get free because of the coupon and ignore the $5.00 gift card if I have to buy the 3rd one but she said they can't do that either. Went to customer service and was told the same thing that actually have to pay for 2 hair colours to get the gift card or to even use the coupon, so I didn't get it. But got a great deal on Cover Girl Mascara. Price was showing as 5 something but scanned at 4.94 used the P&G 2.00 off and Target 2.00 off and walked out paying 1.32 for it.Quote:
