Happy birthday Lola :)
I hope my package comes today I could really use a pick me up. Very stressed out and down the past few days. I know it will pass but its hard to snap out of it.
I think I am gonna take a mental health day and try to get some things done around the house today or maybe just back to bed.
Hope everyone is havin a better day than me.

I bought a bottle of Tea Tree oil for about $15 and I put 3 drops in the shampoo everytime I open a new bottle. The oil has lasted about 2 years so far and there's still tonnes left. It does change the smell of the shampoo slightly but it's not bad.
We had the same problem at out school when the kids were younger. There was a lice outbreak and one particular family with five kids, refused to treat it. Child and Family Services and Public health eventually had to step in. Anyway, DD got it. It was crazy trying to get rid of it because she has this thick, super long hair. She was about 12 at the time. A hairdresser friend told me to find an ammonia based hair dye and use it. We used Nice and Easy( DD wanted to dye her hair anyway) and it worked!

oh man im getting itchy we had it over christmas and again at the end of school , lots of washing and we also used tea tree oil and the shampoo, my kids have super curly hair + lice + pain in the butt!
I have wicked thick and long hair. I feel fear. Tea tree oil is amazing. I used it with my dog shampoo for fleas. Luckily alexa is still a little "sparse" on the hair but I will definitely be adding it when she has more hair

oh buddy, I think my package is waiting for me at the post office. I just got a slip, in my mail box. I picked it up on my way home from dropping off peanut at the babysitters for the day. I would have turned around and went back to that end of town to pick up the package from the post office, but I had the bike cart with baby in it, so that probably wouldn't have faired out well.
i will pick it up after I'm done my chores. It gives me motivation to get it done today!

I'm excited! I'm going out for a late breakfast with my mom and then out for the day. DH called to tell me to go to the Bingo. lol. So, I might just have to do that! If I do, I'll be sure to bring my new bingo bag. :)
Tea tree oil all the way, I've been putting it in Trent's shampoo since he started school (well except for the year he was bald..LOL) and we've never had a problem. I've asked all of my daycare parents if they'd do the same and fingers crossed with 7 yrs of a home daycare we've never had lice here. I put 4 drops into Trent's shampoo bottle when we buy a new one :)
