Good morning ladies! Today is the last day before school, woohoo! My "baby" will be starting high school this year, and the next oldest is starting gr.12. My oldest oldest are 23 so they havent had first days back in a long time!
Sighhh....going to make chicken cordon bleu for dinner (surprisingly, 4/5 of us will actually be HOME together at dinnertime, so Im gonna COOK!)
Outside smells like september, I LOVE that smell, but it reminds me how quickly winter will be upon us...but that means crockpot dinners! YAAAY!!

I'm super excited for school to start! DD loves Kindergarten and has been asking to go back all Summer. lol
I love everything about Fall - the weather, the colours, the holidays, everything!
I put up my fall wreath and put out "harvest blaze" mums in my planters yesterday.
I'm trying to get hay bails to do an actual display. lol

Wow Lola, you are faaar more organized than *I* am.
When my kids were little I TOTALLY used to do outside decorating etc, but now, really, Im lucky if my garbage can makes it INTO the garage instead of just up at the top of the driveway!
No inclination to decorate outside. Im just not one of those neighbourly people...we live beside a complete biatch SAHM, and she tries to make everything a competition and has NEVER "accepted" my family onto the street...we are the white trash house, single mom, lots of teenagers, long grass...hahah!! Screw 'em!

To be fair, I only decorate for Fall, Christmas and Easter/Spring.
I adore fall and DH and the kids love Christmas so we decorate the front door, porch and walk way areas. Nothing insane though. lol.

Lol Heather, we got new neighbours this year. In may I was on a trip and on our way back I collapsed in Vegas and had to be rush for emergency surgery (complications from my big C) anyways once we returned our washing machine decided to die. So between my constant care and hospital trips and stay Mitch bought a new set ( our dyer was set to go) and him and Mitchell dragged the old set up stairs and onto our truck headed to the dump and to find out the recent huge rainstorms had force the dump to close temporarily so they brought them back home and stacked them by the house in the yard. Add that he had missed a few dump days I guess this women lost her mind calling us the worst kind of white trash. She even yelled at Mitchell. Someone must have finally said something but it still kinda made me giggle. I say we be proud of our clutter perfect moms stink anyways lol

Happy Birthday Mitch!! I am dreaming of a lazy day but not getting one. My Mom, Dad, niece and nephew are back from FL late tonight and coming for breakfast in the morning along with a bunch of her family..about 15ish people in total as well as my daycare kids!!! OMG! So today so far I have made 2 batches of oatmeal chocolate chip pancakes, 2 batches of plain pancakes (for my fussy father) a batch of waffles, 48 mini doughnuts and just put 2 loaves of cinnamon raisin bread in the oven. Next up is hashbrowns and then to start supper for tonight...sigh, I need a drink!! I thought if I did it all today it would make tomorrow less hectic, let's hope I'm right.
