According to Friskies, 15% of all internet traffic is connected to cats. And internet traffic means big money.

Henri, the existential cat, has been viewed on You Tube 15 million times. He also has a line of products. Grumpy cat, the cat with an underbite, has her own manager. And Maru is the most viewed cat of all with 224 million+ hits on You Tube.
John St. a digital ad agency in Toronto produced a video about "catvertsing," the owner claims they won three accounts even though the video was tongue and cheek.

I love cats. I had a cat while growing up and everytime it would sit on my lap or next to me while I was watching TV.
Unfortunately DH hates cats :( so we agreed on having fishes :rolleyes:

I've never heard of Henri, so I watched a video and he's not really my type. :-)
Grumpy cat is cute. I always thought she was a he and I thought she looked that way because of her breed.
I absolutely adore Maru! But I suspect that his owner does nothing all day but take videos, look for boxes and obsessively clean their house.
