Awareness is good! I know how it is I have migraines everyday for the last 1 1/2 years from a car accident, not a bad one but enough to do harm. It is good for everyone to know about ! (They need more awareness about post concussion syndrome).

Thank you so much for the posting and it's great now that they have that. Suffering migraine is a nightmare, you can not even talk sometimes that it hurts so much.

I had an accident at work 6 years ago and had to have a brain surgery and now I am left with chronic pains and chronic migraines. Let me tell you it is no fun. My life since I had the accident is in the drak room and some times for weeks at the time, get up only to take more meds because it hurts so much.

So, for me to see that they have now awarness for migraine it's telling me finally that maybe now they will try to find better meds, surgery or something but, something, I hoppe.

I used to suffer from migraines weekly. My DH hid the key to our gun case, they were getting progressively that bad. I laugh at anyone that is out walking and shopping that says they have a migraine. No you don't! I went on an anti-depressiant that has the side effect of blocking the migraines. Citalopram Hydrobromide 30mg, haven't had a migraine in over 2 years!!

Wow, I am sorry you had to suffer like that! I am so glad you are now 2 years migraine free. I find that now I am getting them more frequently around "that time of the month". Already feel yucky at that time and then to add a migraine on top of that too, ugggg.

Thanks...just ordered mine today.
I've been a migraine sufferer for 33 years now. I used to have them for three of four days at a time, 10 times a year. After having 3 kids they've basically diminished to 1 or 2 a year that lasts maybe a day. I still get auras all the time but no migraine follows anymore. I count myself lucky.
