Etsy is a market place made up of thousands of different sellers, who are located all around the world. On the handmade side of Etsy, the sellers are also the makers of the items they sell. Most sellers on Etsy are great. If you do have a negative experience on Etsy, remember that it is the seller you are dealing with, not Etsy in general.

Etsy has a feedback system. If you check out the seller's feeback, that will give you some idea of what it is like to deal with that seller.
