Christie factory in Etobicoke closing soon

Anyone been recently? Is there anything left worth going for? I am planning to make the trip this afternoon but it's relatively far from me to go to if there is nothing left!

I went since I had nothing else to do today and the only things left were chunks ahoy and the soft chips ahoy cookies $1.80 buy one get one free. They don't have anything else left though and it's quite empty. I picked up a bunch of the chunks ahoy cookies...I'm going to need to see if Toronto has another outlet type store like this. I wish I had of known about this place sooner like before they were planning to close!

1. Peek Freans has a factory outlet store in Scarborough ..good prices and good deals there.

2. Parmalat has a factory outlet store in Etobicoke.

A small store tucked behind their factory . Mostly yogurt under the Beatrice brand and also chEese and other dairy products made by Parmalat ..mostly mis labelled products or uncorrect weight products.

At the Peek Freans if you buy broken cookies and mispackaging etc ..you can get good deals ..otherwise the deals are OK but not too great ..but still cheaper than stores.

I've heard the Peak Freans store is pretty decent but it's way too far for me to go. I live 5 minutes away from the Etobicoke one, so I'm really going to miss it. I just feel bad for the employees. I can live without an outlet store, but they're losing their jobs.
