I was scanning the price of an item at RCSS today and noticed 2 of the Nestle 90 count Halloween chocolate bars in a nearby bin. Someone had probably scanned them and decided not to take them.
I scanned the boxes and they came up at $14.98 each. That seemed a little steep to me since Halloween was almost 2 weeks ago. I decided it couldn't hurt to ask so I took them with me and asked about them at the check-out. The result? The CSM reduced the price for me to $3.74 each (75% off)!!!

Cool! Metro near us has the boxes on for 7.99. Still a pretty good deal with the coupons.
Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

The coupons, if you plan to use all or most of them, make that a good deal, too. It's a combination of two of my favourite "c" words: coupons and chocolate!
