Most people will be permanently connected at work, or maybe at home too
How much time do you spend on the connected and browsing the internet each day?
...and of course bummin' around on Smart Canucks counts as time browsed!

If I'm at home, more than likely, I also have my laptop (and smartphone), beside me or on my lap.
When I am out, I have my smartphone at my side.

Me too

I have my laptop that I surf on when I am bored at home, and surf on my phone when I am out and have nothing to do.
It keeps me over connected....and I, in turn, waste a lot of time here on SC. Especially when I am standing in long line ups at Walmart or waiting for my kids to finish their sports.....

More than I would like to admit

I'd say the only time I'm really not 'plugged in' is when I am sleeping... or if I'm out of the country. Otherwise my phones always accessible for Facebook, Pinterest, Google, Angry Birds and everything in between.

At work I am on the internet 98% of the time (work related not all SC haha)
At home, I have my ipad beside me and will usually grab it a few times an hour for a few minutes.
I'd say I am on the internet about 10-12 hours a day...

Hard to say because it varies greatly depending on my plans for the day. Could be an hour or 5 hours. My computer is in the basement so I check it as I walk by to do laundry or cleaning downstairs.

Outside of the home I am not connected though, just a regular cell phone.

Depends on the day. I usually spend a couple hours in the morning if I don`t have to go anywhere. Maybe another hour in the afternoon and and a couple in the evening. Only have a regular cell phone so no connection when I`m out either.

I spend way more time than I am willing to admit online through the day and evening.

I also carry a smartphone so always connected there too when needed although I rarely log onto the internet on my phone it is more for email and texting and apps.

Now the fun part will be going on vacation for 10 days and having no internet. This will be my first vacation in years where I will no internet access, I am already getting nervous.

seriously tho, at home the PC is on 24/7, so whenever i feel i *need* to check something, i do.

that translates into far too much time, probably a minimum of 3 hours, maybe up to 5, if i am really into something and need to google the heck out of it. or if i get lost in the world of architect and design (maybe jewellery every once in a while)

because i am a SAHM w/o a car most of the time, i'm not out much where i can access wifi. i don't have data, so if i'm going to be connected while out, it's going to have to be at the mercy of the establishment i am at

.....far too much; I check in here most mornings, then poke around...look for new recipes some days, patterns for knitting or quilting or just ... well some sites I enjoy have other bloggers they enjoy, so I go to them, and then they have others....etc, etc....hey: isn't that what retirement is for?!

It's actually good that we only have a desktop - if I had something mobile, I would start worrying myself...
