He seems ok, the bandage didn't even stay on the first night. But his pills are finished, no sign of infection. He still favours the paw a bit so I haven't been walking him, or letting him play too much in the backyard (dirt). And I found the nail that got ripped off, the cat was playing with it so I'm not sure where it happened since he was having a wonderful time batting the thing around. So gross.

I'll have to recheck my budget tonight and see if I can afford to ride. What to do...

Do I have to send my info before I'm approved or will I not be approved because its been so long since I've ridden a package train?? Don't want to go through the excitement of doing up a wish list if I won't be allowed to ride :(

So I officially have Alexa's cold (DISLIKE). Mommy is not a happy mommy. I'm very happy though that she's in daycare full time so I can come home and sleep!

Those of you who know me on FB or have been riding the trains I have, likely know that my best friend since forever passed away just before Christmas, and then her brother passed away this summer (both completely unrelated and unexpected). Today's Tanya's birthday so it's a bit of a tough day for me. Usually, we'd be going out for dinner on one of the weekends around her birthday and I would be harassing her with spam today. So I'm forcing my hubby to eat East Side Mario's for dinner tonight (well, I told him I'M ordering East Side's since Alexa is in bed by 6 each night so we're house bound). He's falling in line like a good hubby but poor guy HATES East Side's. It was a bit of a regular place for us growing up so too bad so sad Donnie!

Next random note. I've set a personal goal of setting up 4 Epicure Fundraisers by Christmas and was going to go in yesterday and talk to the Supervisor's at Alexa's daycare to see if they do Fundraising for the school. I got my answer when I went in to pick her up and saw a fundraising campaign catalogue pack in her cubby! Bah!!! Timing Fail! It looks like they do fundraising pretty regularly though so I'm going to give them the info anyway and see if they want to do it in the spring. Has anyone ever gotten any products (not chocolate) from La Montagne? That's the company that they're fundraising through and I'm thinking there are some cute things for Christmas gifts and a nice bracelet I like, but I'm not sure about the quality since I've never heard of the company. Anyone?

Approved!!! I will finish up my wishlist and send in the next couple of days. Can't wait to get started on this one, I am so freaking excited.

I will send my WL tonight. I thought we had to wait as well and I have been bored so my list is, once again, super long.

(((Pammie))) I am with you. Oct 7 would have been my sister's 48th birthday so it is a rough week for me a well. Two of my older sisters passed away four months apart in 2007.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do this train. I always miss the package trains! So much fun to put a neat pkg together for someone else. I am not currently on any trains.
