Canada has won 9-3 after eight ends to take home a second gold medal in curling at the Sochi Olympics.
Canadian skip Brad Jacobs led the Canadian team against Great Britain’s David Murdoch, who conceded after playing eight of 10 ends.

The abundance of good fortune we live, we often take for granted,
& sometimes we let the news we read get us so disenchanted,
A simple example of Canadian spirit has been demonstrated right here,
Olympic updates of all events have been something to revere,
It’s been a captivating couple of weeks & it’s drawing to the finale,
& I for one am just in awe of our impressive medal tally!

And they said Canada wasn't going to do we'll this Olympics.. pft! We just prefer to be the underdogs! The states can keep Justin bieber, lmao. I'm not a sports person by any means but damn.. once the Olympics roll around.... I was glued to the tv, screaming and cheering for our women's hockey team..oh my god.. my dad kept saying, we're done for.. I scream 'never! We'll tie it up and go into overtime, it's the Canadian way!'. Holy crap I screamed during every goal and ended banking my head during the overtime goal when I jumped on my bed, lmao.
Guess I'll be up at 4am Sunday to watch hockey ; )
