This is great but I just can't see myself showing up at the cashier with 30 printable of the same coupon. Reminds me of the chocolate fiasco last year!
ohh please keep this up , i will be happy to learn of these things!!
would love to see someone with math skills w0rk out a redemption on the dove products , buy three get 1500 pt.
love the idea for this thread!!
However one note, the Clean And Clear coupon states one per person :(
Unless my math is messed up, if you happened to receive an 18,500 point offer this week (until October 18), I think you could do a pretty good Dove offer: You could buy 12 each shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and deodorant, for a total of 48 items at @$2.99 and add 15 packs of Dove soap bars at $1.99. Price before coupons (or tax) is (48 X 2.99) + (15 x 1.99) = $173.37. You could redeem 50000 Optimum points for $85 and there are several different coupons for $1 off each Dove product for coupon savings of $63 (or more if you have higher value Dove coupons). Out of pocket would be $173.41 less $85.00 redemption less $63.00 coupons = $25.37. You will have spent more than $75 before coupons so you earn 18,500 points, plus you have 21 groups of 3 Dove products for a further (21 x 1500 pts = 31,500). When you add the 18,5000 points to the 31,500 points you should break even on the Optimum points. So you would get 63 assorted Dove products for $25.21 or about 40 cents each (plus tax).
The bar soap coupon I have is from a Red Plum Insert, I'm not sure of the date it might by 07/06/13, but it's got Degree on the cover.
Yes, brennen7, you are right it is for the 4 bar soap set. I used it yesterday without noticing that (just on 2 sets but I still feel bad). So that would change the price to $41.27 for 63 items, or around $.63 each.
I am interested in seeing your calculations, you are much better at it than I am. You just inspired me to give it a try. :)
Here is what I'm doing tomorrow:
17x Dove Deodorant: $2.99 - $2.00 Coupon = $16.83 Before Coupons: $50.83
21x Dove Hair: $2.99 - $1.50 Coupon = $31.29 Before Coupons: $62.79
2x Dove Body Wash - $2.00 Coupon = $1.98 Before Coupons: $5.98
23x Dove Products - $1.00 Coupon($2 WUB 2) = $45.77 Before Coupons: $68.77
Total: $95.87 - $85.00 (50,000 Optimum Points) = $10.87
Bonus Points = 31,500
Spend $75 Points = 18,500
Total Points = 50,000
