Ok! Weekend over - all my ducks in a row (quack quack) lol bring on the shopping!!! I miss being on package trains! I have been saving my pennies for this one since the Book Exchange!

You should see the volumes of coupons here! Tear pads galore, neck tags,peelies, rep handing them out, little machines that dispense them, more coupons on the receipt!!! Heaven. Now to find an amazing deal for the train . Off to magic kingdom wheeeeee

Well it been a roller coaster of events in my house this weekend! The car things, which I posted on Saturday, and the last night well lets just say I was ready to loose my mind! From an extreme low to an extreme high in a matter of an hour and a half!!

DD and I got in a HUGE fight last night and she ran out (joy of 16 yr old girls), she was freaking out because I grounded her and took her phone away! She was found about a half hour later about a block away from her bff's house. THANK GOD!!! At 730pm at night with the creeps out there i was loosing my mind!!!! Then...

As soon as hubby walked in the door from trying to bring her home (which was unsuccessful, so she said at her bff's for the night to cool off), the phone rings. Its Habitat for Humanity saying we qualify for a house!!!!!! We applied to be a Habitat family at the end of July and have been waiting on pins and needles trying to be patient hoping for this call!!!! Of all nights and times for it to come!!!!

Long story short, we have a home visit scheduled for Wedn. night so they can get some more information on us and see check out our situation!!! Is so hard being extreamly excited for one thing and pulling my hair out in another!!!!

I have three teens so I totally understand. Congrats on the house though. That's amazing and very exciting!

POOH! COngrats on the house, thats amaaaazing news! And yeah..teenagers SUCK. I survived the two boys teenaged years (barely) and now the girls are in them...Luckily for me, the girls are easier than the boys....so far!

I am ridingthe Deck the halls train. My package has been mailed and received by GwennaD. I am waiting on mine so will leave feedback as soon as i get it

Someone please tell me though, she says shes not ready to come home and to give her a few days! With this meeting on Wend. we all have to be here. Im not fully cleaning or staging my house in anyway, so they can see what we are like day to day, but there are things that need to be done. I told her that her father will be picking her up at her bffs after work today and if she refuses to go with him, I said I would send the cops over to bring her home!! I also have an aunt that works in Moblie Crisis and I have talked to her who said to use the cops if need be. Im just wondering, was that pushing? I hate to threaten that far but shes really not getting the full picture here!!!!!! And im ready to loose my mind!!!!

I guess it depends on what the fight was over. It's good that she has somewhere safe (that both of you are OK with her being) so uf she needs to feel that she has some space for a bit... but ultimately, she's a part of your family and you guys need to be able to talk through things. I'd maybe starts by reaching out (non combatively) and explain how important it is for the WHOLE family that she be there etc. It's not about any one of you etc. Again, don't want to pry, but not knowing what the fight/issue is about, it's hard to say too much. Just go into it with the feeling that you want ti talk it out together, and not that either one of you is 100% right or wrong.
