Many wm will not pm meats that are set as $10 a package... and require them to be $X/lb to pm a $X/lb. I know the set price packs do show a weight that they can use to calculate but wondering if that is what the problem was....

I know that too, its by weight. I write a note with the conversion to bring with me tomorrow in case I run into him again. 1kg=2.20lb

the pack I was trying to get was 1.15kg=2.53lb*$.28=$.71. the thing is when he rang in my chicken wings after which I pm for $1.58/lb, he got them right, I even said to him if you can get the price for the wings right, why the heck can't you get the ribs price right...its sooo obvious that he purposely making up BS about the ribs. just makes me mad

its by weight only, I got 3 packs and they were all priced differently. anyhow, I m going to head out and try again now, just hope its another manager on duty

This week, PM'ing at Walmart saved me so much! Paid 0.33 cents for 2 tomatoes, paid $1 for 10lbs of potatoes, really cheap fresh chicken breasts, and enough fresh fruit to feed an army... Bananas at $39/lb!!!

How's everyone else coming along? How is your WM with the new policies? Have you tried using Darius' tips on how to approach CSM's and Management?

I know 3 weeks ago, I had only 2 cashiers who knew what was what. But with a lot of patience and "very nicely" guiding the CSM's who weren't aware, I have been able to spread the word quite quickly! It's getting easier and easier!

Has anyone else been advised that their Walmart has stopped pming across Canada, except to the stores that you can purchase on-line with? Just got back from our local Walmart and they are having a conference call as we speak in regards to what they are going to do. They stopped the pming this morning. It has mostly been stopped because of the pming of meat (according to what the cashier has been told)

after I failed to pm the ribs on friday, the next day I went to give another try, the shelf was bare, went to talk to the meat dept manager, he said too many people came to pm them, walmart can't keep up, so no more left for me. many people must be reading my posts here.... went to the front to have a casual chat with the CSM, told her about how cheap the ribs was and she said that morning one guy came and brought all 10 packs pming this store. i was a few hours too late.

In Ontario here and still able to... I have heard Edmonton wm mangers have pulled out... at least for now due to it shoppers clearing them out of ribs at a price that was a misprint... For now I think it sound localized to the Edmonton area. This misprint was never posted here under hot deals as it was obvious that it was a misprint.... its unfortunate that many fb pages advertised it.
