Their policy says the item has to have a single price. For example, 2/$3 is a no go. If it specifically says 2/$3 OR $1.50 EACH then they will price match it.

I thought the Hawaiian punch was a dollar at first too but its not ots 2/$5
the dollar is the cost of the kraft bbq sauce belowhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/29/nu8e2e7a.jpg
I think the GT bags of Sally's cereal are smaller than the ones at Superstore/Walmart, at least here in Nova Scotia.
I have the coupons from the P & G Brandsaver booklet. Will that let me do overages? Also, I believe wal mart does not have the 100 ML toothpastes. Or do they? If so, do you know which wal mart stores have the 100 ML toothpaste? Will no frills accept the Super C flyer?
Walmart don't carry 100ml, only the 130ml.
Yes NF is only local, printed ads. They wont even accept local chinese market type ads- only the "big names".
Several Walmarts I have been to do in fact carry the 100mL size.
No frills will likely not accept the SuperC flyer as they generally are very adamant about doing local only.
As long as the coupons in the brandsaver insert don't specify that it is not good on cavity control as that is generally the kind that goes on sale for this type of price.
Looks like this is over before it began
Despite many forum members being told by cashiers that they would be price-matching, a CBC news story and other leaks of the new policy (including people who said they saw the memo in Target stores), it looks like Target’s great new nationwide price-matching policy will not be happening.
CBC posted a clarification today saying “Target Canada has clarified the major policy change on price matching. Starting Tuesday, consumers can present digital flyers only from selected online Canadian retailers and Target will match that price, confirms Lisa Gibson, spokesperson for Target Canada. Those retailers include Walmart.ca, Bestbuy.ca, Futureshop.ca, ToysRUs.ca, BabiesRUs.ca, CanadianTire.ca, Sears.ca and Amazon.ca. Target will also match any other retailers advertising in the local area”
You can however use online flyers or show a price from the website, but it does need to be in stock on the website to get that price. It is disappointing after the news was widely shared on social media and Target confirmed that the policy would change today without offering an immediate clarification.
Will this change how often you will shop at Target?
Before they say they were not aware of the story

Well, that didn't last long. It's odd because some have reported seeing the new policy on paper, now they're changing it already. Odd. I'll be sticking with WM for my pricematching.
Great News
It is a pity, I was looking forward to not having to go to walmart as much
Did it mention 50km away as a local guideline or did i just completly make that up in my mind?
I still had a pretty good shop brought my bill down from $94 - $38 with pming coupons and target coupons.
Ill still shop for my non perishables there as I love the service the cashiers and the lack of crowds .
I will however still go to walmart to pm my fruits and veggies.
Im still happy
I dislike going to Walmart and only go when there is a deal that I can only get there. :) Our Target is opening this Friday and I will be going there for PM on household items, I love that they have the double coupons and I already have some 'stacks'. Plus, I don't have to drive in congested areas to get there.
Without Canada-wide PM'ing I will continue not shopping at Target! It is unfortunate because I do like the look and feel and service at the stores, and I want them to succeed. I just can't pick up enough of the things I need there to make the trip worthwhile.
Thank you!1
