I have been waiting for an advertised 10-lb onion sale for the last few weeks too. Great price at Esposito, emg! Looks to be unadvertised so I am still on the lookout if anyone has any tips!
Fruiticana has decent prices, but I am hoping for cheaper:
50-lb onions for $10
25-lb red onions for $10
10-lb Russet potatoes for $2.88
seems like we are all waiting the the 10 pound bag to go on sale! :)

Oh woops, I was talking onions - I saw the potato 10-lb deal in Esposito but still keeping fingers crossed for onions.
My mother in law says onions aren't as plentiful this time of year cause onions usually get harvested in the fall.
