Marché ADONIS, QC, has 16-pack Ficellos for $3.99 in flyer this week (ends July 2nd). Tag on shelf said $3.99 for the cheddar but $6.49 for marble, I brought both to cash and asked cashier to scan, as I prefer the marble but for the price difference would go for the cheddar (had bad previous experience with SCOP there - they did not want to apply QC law due to details being unspecified in flyer/on shelf tag) didn't want to make a fuss. Problem: they both scanned $6.49. I told the cashier they were $3.99 in the flyer, she called the manager, who actually GAVE ME BOTH for free (QC law states he would have had to give me only one free, then the second item for $3.99 ad price) plus one had the $7.00 coupon booklet inside! Score! I left with a $1.85 bill for a big bag of green beans, 2 clementines, and 2 pack of 16 count Ficello!

wolfie, you were so lucky to be able to get ice cream! In our flyer, it's the frozen dessert for that price.

I was at No Frills, with my squirming toddler in one arm and digging around in my wallet for quarter for a cart with the other and dumping the contents of my wallet and purse out in the process. A nice older man gave me his cart, helped me pick up my stuff and gave me a cookie from the bag he bought to occupy dd.
Totally made my day, and today has been a LONG one lol.

Very nice story! It gave me a mental picture of the scene! Did the cookie work?

Great story! I thought that two products with different UPCs would, indeed, mean two for free. It kind of happened by good luck!

I think it would only apply on the one that was on sale for 3.99. The other one, which wasn't on sale, scanned at the correct price, so it would not have been eligible for scop. It worked out in OP's favor though!

I went to the mall with my mom and went into Coach to check out their sale. I found a bag that I LOVED but wasn't in our budget right now. I helped her pick out a bag and left with dd as she was paying. She comes out with 2 shopping bags from Coach and surprised the out of me with the bag I wanted as a early birthday/Xmas/I'm finally healthy present! My mom is awesome!
