Well DH and I talked about Yule plans and this is what we decided to do. We took our Yule fund and purchased toys for the local toy drive. Many, many years ago, I got a Yule hamper and was in tears at the poor quality of the toys included. Not that I blamed them, they could only give what was donated to them. So we went big and got really nice toys. A couple of Zoomer Dino's, big radio control trucks, a few massive Star Wars Lego sets.....I won't say the exact amount we spent but it was 4 figures. Plus we got all the batteries with extras included. Ie if a toy took 3 AAs, we gave 6 AAs. I think there are going to be some very happy kids this year.

Ok my favourite deal I got recently was a personal coupon sent to me for EB Games Edge Rewards. It said trade in 1 game for $10 added trade value. It truly meant any game because I was able to trade in a game worth 10 cents that was a turd I pick up long ago for 49 cents or maybe less and turned it into $10.10. LOL! It was that TV SuperStars for PS3 I think. Oh and glad I saw this thread as it made me think of this deal I got and now I have to check for more coupons. Hope they are as good as that one. LOL!

Eh darn wait a sec as I can top the so called favourite deal with this one ....

I guess the best deal I got recently was winning $40 or so in tickets. I won two adult tickets to see the Sarnia Sting and had a great time.
