I received a confirmation on Nov 27th for Martha Stewart Living. I have contacted Martha Stewart 3x to change my address and they don't have a record of my subscription. I have contacted Recyclebank 3x also....the last response I got was on Feb 4th stating they would have a specialist get back to me within 3-5 days ! Haven't heard a thing from them.
Honestly, this is more trouble than it's worth.....
Did you subscribe to "mailed reward"? As I told here earlier (read my post #13), the address of a "mailed reward" (which does not give you a code) cannot be changed. And as I know, Martha Stewart Living is a "mailed reward". So yes, unfortunately, you just wasted your points. But that's OK, there are always new opportunities to earn more points on Recyclebank.
If you don't understand something, feel always free to ask questions. Good luck!
P.S. The same thing happened to me with Forbes. That was a "mailed reward", too. I didn't know at first and then I couldn't change the address, either.
Yes, if you subscribed to a "mailed reward" (with an American address, of course, because Recyclebank does not accept Canadian address), the magazine won't have your mailing address. They will simply send your reward (magazines) to the American address you entered on Recyclebank (quite possible (just assuming, not sure), they send your reward to Recyclebank, and then Recyclbank sends that to you). You had to choose a reward which gives you a code, not a "mailed" one. The same thing happened to me with Forbes. They simply didn't have my "American" mailing address. I believe, Recyclebank itself deals with "mailed" rewards. But, obviously, Recyclebank cannot change your address. So only magazines can if they have that in their records. A little bit complicated, but, again, try to choose a reward, which redirects you to a magazine site (e.g., Hearst magazines (Cosmo,...) (not to Recyclebank site for "mailed" rewards which will send you your reward to the address you entered for registering on Recyclbank), and then you have to enter a special code (which Recyclebank gives you as a reward) with your American address. Then, in about a week, you can change that to your Canadian address.
But that's OK, next time simply choose another reward (e.g., InStyle), and everything will be fine. You'll enter an American address with a special code on the magazine site, then you'll change that to a Canadian one.
Can we redeem for anything else?
Ok, I'm toooooooooooootally confused here. Someone tell me what to do in baby steps please. How do I earn points to redeem mailed magazines?
I earned points by looking at the articles that they have under the earn points section. Then you'll usually have to click on the section where it says get points.
What US address do you use to redeem?
