help please

I entered a giveaway from Woman's Day magazine. And then the next page told me "Thank you, you free and risk free subscription of Woman's Day was accepted".

I didn't know that. So what do I have to do? Will they send me free magazines and then bill me later? But I don't want that?

Anybody did that? E.g., can I cancel after getting free magazine? But how? And if I don't cancel, will they bill me? But they don't know my credit card details, they know only my address and phone number.

Please I need your help.

There might have been a box to uncheck if you didn't want the free sub.

Oh, I just checked an example of one of their contests - there's a separate link for entering if you don't want the free subscription

- the one I used as an example is US only, I couldn't find a CDN one - so check back on the entry page you used to see if it is similar

The problem solved!

I just called Woman's Day and asked a customer service representative to delete my account.

Well, first I asked to cancel my account. He told me he would do that a couple of days later. Then I thought, "Wait, why cancel the subscription if not to delete entirely my account?" So I asked to delete my account.

And then I asked if I would receive the magazines with billing. He said that I would but only the first issue, and I would have to ignore the billing info.

Good that I called and spoke directly to a customer service representative.
