thanks for posting that link lecale, it puts so many of the pieces together. Wow, what a family, not so sure the voters ever really knew the man behind the mask. This thread will most certainly see more posts thanks to his antics before election day in October.
I read the book Crazy Town by Robin Doolittle out of curiosity and it was also enlightening to see this family. It also gave insight in how he was elected, which I never really knew because I didn't live in the city at the time of the election. It also gave insight in how and why the Star reported or didn't report certain things.Quote:

That place is a bar in the same way swiss chalet is a bar....its a restaurant that serves alcohol and also has a bar. It isn't necessarily the defining feature. This is just stretching the truth and exaggerating
If it is the same Crabby Joe's that I was at, it's not really a bar, but more of a restuarant with a bar area. It's no different than like a Boston Pizza that has a seating area and a bar. When I was there, lots of kids were also there so I kind of feel like this story is being made into more than what it is. Headlines should really read "restaurant" not "bar."Quote:
