Doug is now calling for Blair to resign or take a leave of absence.

I am not a fan of Bill Blair and I've thought several times that he needs to go but I think this is not the case. Blair said on Thursday that "as a citizen" he was disappointed with what he saw on the video. And I think its fair for him to say that because despite being the chief, he is also a citizen. And I think its fair to be disappointed, if what is on the video is what we think is on it. And it seems Doug is not aware that Blair did not release the ITO but that a judge did.

I think its also important to remember that this investigation started because a man linked to the video was murdered. I don't think the motives of the police were to try to bring down the mayor.

Once again Doug Ford to Rob Fords rescue...sheesh you would think HE was elected Mayor not his brother! I am so sick of both of these men! Just another way to deflect what is going on with his brother - blame someone else.
So Blair should resign bc he was disappointed in what he saw in the video but his brother an alcoholic who more then likely smokes crack and hangs out with drug dealers and shady people should continue making a fool of Toronto to the world...great logic there Doug!

Posted just now on Yahoo.ca and citynews.ca is also saying that Rob Ford has just admitted to smoking crack about a year ago in an impromptu interview.

Ya know, I don't take pleasure in seeing people fall (even if I don't like them) but can we all (haters, doubters, staunch supporters) agree that Ford has a problem and he should step down to deal with his issues?

For me, it isn't so much about the fact he smoked crack. Imagine that? For me it's the fact he lied about it, continued to lie about, lashed out at everyone around him saying it was a smear campaign, calling the media maggots for publishing lies, and then he did it all again. He called Blair a liar and turns around today to say yeah, I did it. While I was serving as Mayor. In a drunken stupor. Really?

I don't live in Toronto (use to and it's a great city) but Ford needs to go.

If he was so drunk and doesn't remember doing crack, what else doesn't he remember doing on other drunken occasions?
Its not how a someone who was elected to run a city should be acting. He chose this career path, you can't go into politic and not expect people to question you on your life, just like you cant become a celebrity and then get mad when people want to take your picture. Rob Ford is pissing on everyone and telling them its raining...he needs to seek help and step down, let someone more stable run Toronto and not make it a laughing stock of the nation.

lecale, that's a bigger problem in my opinion. What is actually not of importance to the electorate.

VeeVee, I agree with you. Personally, I don't trust the judgement of someone that does drugs, especially hard drugs. And to be in charge of running a large city? I don't think so. If h's lied about his crack use what else has he lied about?
