I was in the process of a trade and I realized I promised the same two coupons to two different people...I haven't been trading long...but this is the first time I messed up...I Pm'd the person in which it would effect and offered something better...but I need to know if anyone else messes up like that? I realize the problem...I wasnt sure if the first trade was a go...so i did not remove coupons from my list...I am so embarrassed...

Been there, done that! lol
Thankfully for me I was able to either find more of those coupons at the store, or a coworker had extras.
So far, not too embarassing, but yes, it happens!

I'm sure it happens all the time.
My mistake was entering the wrong expiry date on my trade list.
And not deleting things that have been traded.
People have to be understanding though. Especially if they trade often.WHATT, You aren't doing Swagbucks? http://swagbucks.com/refer/acosta22

My first trade (only have done 2) I had offered 6 copies of coupons when I only had 2. Thankfully she was nice about it and was ok with me sending something similar. (This is not the reason I have only done 2 trades)

I misread someones wishlist and thought I had the coupon they wanted. Sent them the wrong one but they were very understanding and I offered what I could to make up for it.
The people here are very easy going and understanding!

So many mistakes are lurking around every coupon corner - half the time, when we have time to do our coupon chores, we're already tired. Don't worry, just be honest and the trader should sympathize - no ones perfect. I type the word PENDING at the end of a coupon description on my tradelist if the coupon is being considered in a trade. This tells traders the coupon is likely unavailable, and reminds me of the same thing. Once the trade has been agreed on and addresses exchanged, I pull that coupon for it's mail envie and immediately delete it from my tradelist. If the trade isn't agreed on, I delete the word PENDING from that coupon's description on my wishlist and it is now obvs to all that coupon is available for trade once more. This method helps me keep my trades organized... if I'm not too tired, and remember to type/delete the word PENDING. LOL

i agree that late night coupon chores AFTER a full day... were all bound to make some mistakes
besides, we're not trading 10000000$ stock bonds.. so who cares, communicate fix the issue and move on .. hopefully no SCer would be a cry baby over a little mistake like this

When I was new.. I joined a wishlist train.. one of the riders asked for a coupon good on "any" kelloggs cereal so I proudly sent her extras of several coupons all for a variety of kellogg cereals. ie .75 on rice krispies... Thankfully the rider didn't blast me though she must have been disappointed. I only realised this error about 6 months later.
Be sure to click like and post a brag if you get the deal.. It makes my day!!! Flattery may just get you more deals
Be sure to double check your flyer, points and cashback offers~ YMMV

I'm sure we've all been there, done that at one point or another. You did the right thing by contacting the people involved right away. That's all you can do. If they are not happy with it, they won't trade with you again. Not the end of the world. It just shows your human, just like the rest of us. Hope you have a wonderful Saturday!
We all need a little sunshine every now and then
