Not quite a brag - but it makes me smile

Just wanted to share something that made me smile . On the long weekend we were invited to our neighbours BBQ, as were many in the neighborhood. The elderly gentleman across the street from me never attends and I found out it was because he can't afford to bring food like everyone else does.

So I bundled up the 2 Chapman's coupons I had left from a trade, put them in an envelope with his name and even added a stamp to have it mailed to his house.

Sure enough, for the first time in the 3 years my family has lived on this street he showed up at the party with 2 different ice cream treats for dessert . He looked so happy to be there and was just a joy to have around.

It made me feel wonderful and I wanted to share my secret coupon fairy moment with someone lol

And something else you can do if you don't already, when neighbourhood bbq's occur and he doesn't attend, make him up a plate and take it over and say that it was too delicious for him to miss out on!
