20% off $50+ Friday 22 Nov Coupon

Geez, I thought they gonna enter the discount at exactly $50 since the manager pointed out to the cashier. He said I am only get the max $50. Lost out $40 discount

There`s a senior discount next Thursday but I don`t know if it can be combine with my 20x coupon, and there`s a possibility the item maybe sold out by then so I am getting it tomorrow.

Is it a hit and miss thing? Like cashier will punch in 20% and system allow more than $50 discount or is it consistently 20% off regardless of what stated on the coupon or on senior day discount (20%). Or they will manually adjust discount amount to maximum $50 when they see that on the coupon?? SDM coupon is so confusing.

@ Kyles_Mana: Yeah, first the GC balance theft now missed discount but at least I got my GC bonus points awarded on time.

When I did the senior's day with my dad last year, she told us it would be capped at $50 and then scanned the coupon. $56 came off - no cashier intervention took part.
Now, again this was a year ago December, so the system might have changed since then - but doesn't sound like it.

I did it last night. I purchased a Wii U bundle and used the 20% off coup. 60.00 came off and she even showed me on the screen. "Look 60.00 came off" then I did a redemption for 170.00 and then used a 20x coup for the remainder and walked away with another 13,000 pts. I'm super happy i decided to do it. This is way better then the 210.00 redemption next weekend.
