I am just wondering if you know where I can get a good price on heated blankets? I am looking for one, freezing cold these days even with the heat on.

If you are close to the states next week is Black Friday and I noticed in the Bon Ton flyer they have them for $39.99 reg $150-200( If I remember correctly). If not my parents just bought one last week at Canadian Tire for $59.99 on sale. I also bought my dad a heated blanket but I think it's more for when they watch tv at Costco for $34.99

i know exactly what you mean! Doesn't matter how high you turn the heat up, it is still chilli in the house.
I got my Sunbeam blanket from the Bay a few years ago. It was $280 reg price and since I work so close to the Bay I would check the price each week. It was 40% off for a few weeks but i wasn't sure if I wanted tp spend the $ even at 40% off.
It finally went on sale for 50% off and I quickly grabbed one. Still a bit expensive for a blanket but best investment ever

We have always had a heating blanket. Hubby would complain because I would kick it over to his side and he would be sweating. Ha Ha So this year we decided to get a heated mattress pad. I love it SO much more than a blanket. The heat is distributed evenly and the entire bed is warm. It was quite expensive though ($180) but I used HBC points and coupons and only paid $25. Totally worth it. I will never use a heated blanket again.

Do not buy a heated pad and blanket you will SWEAT your BEEP off! LOL

Homesense, Walmart, Target, Amazon etc Almost any store carries them. Yes they are washable just like a blanket and they come with dual controls. I love the PH (preheat) setting. It's just warm enough to warm my entire side of the bed but not to warm that I'm sweating.

Love my heated mattress pad!! My parents had one for a long time and I used to think it was for older people, my mom would rave about it. I saw it on sale at Macys one year, the best time get one is in Feb, but that won't help you now lol. Any size sunbeam for $39.99 reg:$200-280 so I bought one, it was the best decision over the years I've bought some for kids room, I even bought a king size one for our trailer, we used to go camping a lot with the kids and let me tell you how wonderful it was getting into a warm bed after being by the campfire. I highly recommend it !! Once again if you can get to the states or even order on line for their Black Friday deals you can probably get it cheap. I have bought many on Black Friday..

We made the decision to buy a heated mattress pad a few years ago ... around $125 (I think) from Costco.... It's been fabulous especially if I remember to put it on a 1/2 to 1 hour before going to bed then I can just turn it off. Now I wouldn't be without one....I love that toasty warm feeling
