Walmart items
I found a coupon for free 3.2 lb Iams So good dry dog food, so I went to get that for the donation pile. The Planes movie went down in price from $24 to $18 so I picked that up for a stocking stuffer. Cheap 3 pak of peppers $2, cheap bananas, not a great price on apples but I needed them. Barilla is still on sale $1 - used my .50 coupons on those. And (trumpets blaring) Nivea chapstick was stocked,so I got a bunch of them to use as overage towards my food/dvd. Went to the cashier, and the supervisor hemmed and hawed over the Nivea coupon, but it was accepted. Then I made the cashiers' day and signed up for the Walmart credit card (she gets a bonus for signing someone up), and I get $15 in points once I use it at a walmart and one other store AND another $10 if I go paperless for billing (as if I wouldn't for $10!!). Anyways, my pile of items ended up costing only $20 and change, plus in the near future will get $25 in points to spend at Walmart. :) *no fee card
Went to Sears to get earflap winter hats, signed up for their Sears credit card and will get $30 in points back :) *no fee card

nice! We use the MC everytime you would use debit, then the same day pay all those reciepts off. We have been doing this since September and we have $65 or so to use towards Christmas gifts :)
