Any good cheap deal for cell phone

Hi any one knows about holiday deals for cell phone. Especially with public mobile.

While you are looking for deals.... you might also want to research about carrier coverage.

There are lots of affordable carriers out there, sadly...

• does the discount carrier work in tunnels?
• do I need to be outside on a balcony to get reception because the carrier does not have repeaters in the building?
• Many discount carriers only offer service in urban cores. Go a little into the suburbs.... you are charged roaming fees while in Canada!
• I strongly recommend talking with your neighbors, co-workers and friends. What carriers do they use? Have they discovered dead zones where their phones will not work? Where are the deadzones for that carrier?

Suddenly a great deal on a phone service is not a good deal.

seen alot of people going to koodo and either getting the double data and mins plans or signingup for the sack plan for 55 and 5 gb of data and then porting a number over for their local province

Lsat year dh got Public mobile deal, their regular $25 deal for $15 for 30 months. Unlimited calls for GTA (or I think Ontario not sure as never call outside GTA). and also unlimited text messages to allover the world and we used that lot of times. Its reception is also very good, never have problem even in basements with no windows or in elevators. Before we have mobilicity which never work at those places. I wish they offer same deal again so I can get one for myself. Need phone for calls no data needed.
