reminds me of an ongoing situation with myelf, my 6 year old daughter and ther sum people at rec centre thats part of our building. they dont have a family changeroom so i have no option but to take her with me to the mens changeroom. I taught her to look down and not stare at other boys or men(she wouldnt stare at anyone regardless where she is ,she's soo shy) and we usually really quick as she has her swimsuit underneath and in summer we just dry up and she puts a summerdress over and showers/changes at home,but these people act as if kids dont and shouldn't know that boys have penis' and girls have punanni's i mean vagina's..and its not like shes gawking at the odd time theres a naked guy walkin around.
yesterday we were only ones in changeroomn and walking towards pool and we hear a senior tisking to himself constantly,i thought he missed someone he was to meet,but then he starts laying into me that it" no nice"to have girl in here,and then he's like,you know there naked men in here at times, i really bit my tongue with him cuz my daughter been thru this b4 and i swore i wouldnt make a scene with here there again and also cuz he was old,but geeez if there is no family changeroom whats a dad suppose to do with his daughter. anyways eff em..
if ony they'd use all that effort they do in thumbing their noses in other peoples lives and use that effort to do some good or to look at themselves for once,

Never mind. I was going to say something referring to the old man but decided to bite my tongue. All I'll say is that I would have made a comment that would make the old man blow his top and then play innocent so that I would look like the calm one. I have that knack.

I had a very bad afternoon....... wanted to wake up hubbie but held my own....
I cannot believe how cattie women are, I was watering the "caster bean" and a group of peeps that live on my street walked by and asked that if it was such a great idea that I wear a bikini in public....due to my age??????
I just stood there and had no kwik comeback as I was so embarrased. Geez I weigh 115 soaking wet and this is coming from peeps 3x that!! Why do peeps have to be so cruel...
I never have said anything to these peeps but I guess the fact I got a 2pack makes them mad.
I would never be mean to anyone that way.... sometimes I feel guilty for losing 70lbs and rocking a bikini "at my age" which is 48 and I not embarrassed about that...
Note to everyone who cares what you look like it's the person that counts...

Wow, look what happens when you scoot out of work early on a Friday to shoot over
to Plucker's and share a cold one with STAB ! Mrocks, there are lot's of
homes near me, some with pools ! Come on over, and we have one of those
old "Lion's" POOLS with a family changeroom so Ozzy is welcome too. This
might mean your Knight would have to change from GM to Ford... oh we
know that won't happen ! DAMN, we would welcome your attitude in our
neighbourhood!

Should have just said that they should keep their petty jealous comments to themselves since they can't rock it in a bikini, because if I was within earshot of hearing them I would have.

When I told the Hubs he was gonna say something but I told him for the first time in my life just let it be.... I don't know what their problem was but it I don't want to be hurtful back or him on my behalf just puts me down to their level....For once maybe I got it right.....It looked like they were expecting me to blow a gasket and that just make me look stupid(er) than them!!!!

LOL a knack to get under ignorant peoples skin, love it!
A smile,chuckle and a nod also seem to get under their ignorant,1855 mentality,prehistoric skin. and if i'm with my daughter it doesnt freak her out or scare her and it seems to get the point across,but there are times when just cant take it anymore and one has to tell their kid turn around close your eyes and plug your ears cuz daddy's gotta give that old man a talking to lol .

nevayoumind, we thinking of getting out of highrise apt living and into our own home,im done with sharing everything from hallways to elevators to parking to putting up with tenants who think they only ones in building.
wife works downtown so it'd have to be near a go or ttc stn.
