I was thinking of throwing together a chicken and rice dish in the crockpot but my Campbell's soups I was going to use expired exactly 2 months ago. Would it be safe? Taste the same? TIA

You bet, no problem - even longer away than that.
for sure.!
Phewf! Thanks ladies!
I think its not safe for your health if it is expired so i will suggest you to throw it.
I would eat it after two months.
I have used expired Campbell's soup before and I had no ill effects and I am still alive & kicking.
Well I appreciate all the input, I went ahead and made the dish. It turned out terribly; not because the soups were expired but likely because I am a horrible cook lol. We tried to eat it but ended up getting Dominos instead. Making a mental note to spend more time in the food and recipes forum!
i would never use expired soup, there is a reason why there is an expiry date
why risk your health with food poisoning.
Rest assured it is safe to eat canned soup 2 months past the best before date.

Yep did that and I'm still here;)
Myself, no, wouldn't have eaten it. After two weeks maybe, but two months, no. Food can look fine, smell fine, but not be fine.
I absolutely would. Just pour it out in a bowl and have a look at it before adding it to anything in case it has gone off.
We argue about that all the time here, lol.I would have used it and not worried-I've always believed "best before" means just that, not "rotten the next day" like some members of my family.Mind you, these are the same family members who think week old turkey is just fine, lol.Go figure.
