Have a great weekend everyone. Looking forward to some really nice weather warm temperatures, relaxing & a bit of wining.....Come to think of it, it is our girl's weekend. It's been a challenging week for me. I've beem under the weather with some kind of cold type virus. I went to the clinic yesterday to get the doc to listen to my lungs. I don't have pneumonia or a fever anymore (as of today). Looking forward to getting out out town.
I'm the co-planner of an all-girl weekend; been trying to coordinate all year,
It gets hard to pin us all down, cause we live way down there & over here,
But, sometimes you just have to go ahead, set a date,
Send out the invites & hope to congregate,
For being together makes us feel the way we used to live,
Photo albums, scrapbooks are the gifts that we give,
Reminisce about old times & sometimes scoff at the present,
We do discuss you men folk, but we do keep it pleasant?
Sometimes we make blender drinks or Singapore slings,
& we talk & we talk about so many things,
We have wonderful music for atmosphere enhancement,
& talk about boys who once held such enchantment,
We eat very well & we dine at a beautiful table,
We don’t watch TV & we sure don’t have cable,
Although we don’t talk as often as we once did,
It’s therapeutic to find the zest that you felt as a kid,
A few extra pounds maybe added to our girlish physique,
But we still like to think that we still have mystique,
We don’t watch movies, but we go for walks,
We take a few pictures & continue our talks,
No Men Allowed! is our continuing weekend theme,
Cause boys do not fit in-an-all-girlish-scene,
I hope this comes together, as we all need the boost,
As there’s no greater times then when girls get to roost.
Looks like there will not be any menfolk there.

No time for a nap today, too busy, but will hit the sac as soon as the game's over.
